The Gades are on the road for the 5th game in a row, and have 3 more to go after tonight’s contest with the Aberdeen IronBirds. It’s the longest road trip of the year for them, which means the most hours trying to sleep on the bus, the most hours waiting in hotels to go to the ballpark and the most hours away from the Dutch.
After the upcoming series with the Lowell Spinners, the Gades will only have one home game (August 23) before they head back on the road. Luckily, it will only be to Brooklyn for a day, then they’ll be back for an entire series to face the ValleyCats (August 25, 26 & 27).

The team has just one road game in its last 8 contests, so they’ll wrap up with a good chunk of games in front of our fans. That means there are still plenty of chances to see the Gades in the playoff chase!
What’s been the most memorable playoff chase for you in any sport? How about with the Renegades?
